If you are running Xcelsius in LiveOffice compatibility mode and an excel process is not ended properly by Xcelsius (which currently happens quite often) you might become quite aggressive
when you are confronted with the following message.

This message tells you to abort the startup of Xcelsius. Hit Ctrl+Alt+Del and manually kill the remaining excel process. After that you have to run Xcelsius again. If you obey this process 20 times a day you might become almost crazy. ![]()
So here is the Quick-Fix for Windows XP:
Write a small Visual Basic Script, which kills all Excel processes and afterwards starts Xcelsius. It's that simple.
You can also download the file here: RunCX.zip ( 1KB )
1.) Download the RunCX.zip.
2.) Unzip to C:\.
3.) Edit the RunCX.vbs with notepad and change to Xcelsius Path to your Xcelsius-Installation directory.
4.) Create a Shortcut on your Desktop which refers to C:\RunCX.vbs and change its icon to the beautiful Xcelsius icon.
5.) Enjoy running Xcelsius without annoying messages on startup.
Limitation:
This won't work if you start Xcelius by double-clicking your XLF-files. I will update the script in order to fulfill this requirement when i have got more time.
