Regarding version: Business Objects XI 3.0, LiveOffice 3.0, Microsoft Excel 2003
Where the f*** is my LiveOffice toolbar?
If you are missing your LiveOffice toolbar, unless you installed LiveOffice properly und already used it there are two ways to go if you want your LiveOffice toolbar back again:
- Run
enable_addin.exefrom the LiveOffice program folder. Enable Live Office Support.

Now check if all MS Office Applications are marked and confirm with OK. Restart your Office Application and hope that your LiveOffice toolbar is visible now.

If it is not visible at all, you could check if your toolbar is activated in MS Excel.

- Another way to resolve the problem, which might help if the first way is a dead end road is to manually re-enable the LiveOffice Com-Add-In:
Select Extras->Customize->Commands->Extras Com-Add-Ins... and drop it to Toolbar.
Now you should have the new Button on your toolbar (COM-Add-Ins). ![]()
Hit it to open the Com-Add-In configuration Window.

In the Com-Add-In configuration window you have to remove the LiveOffice Add-In and re-add. You will find the file in the following path:
%Business_Objects_Root%\BusinessObjects Enterprise 12.0\win32_x86\crystal_addin_framework.dll
e.g. in my environment it's the following path:
C:\Programme\Business Objects\ BusinessObjects Enterprise 12.0\win32_x86\crystal_addin_framework.dll
That's it. Are you happy now? ![]()
